Every once in a while, the totally and deliciously random artist comes along and blows your mind away. I’m no artist, but I did study art history and even had the chance to see some of the greatest works displayed at the Chicago Art Institute, Musee’ de Rodin, The New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, High Museum, The British Museum, and The Lourve to name a few. All displayed portraits of famous people and not so famous people but nonetheless, they are art and the person in the picture is eternally featured in a proclaiming status. I have spent literally hours and hours just observing portraits, looking for hints of personality, charm, and creative stance.
I still contend that the most beautiful artwork I have ever seen are the portraits of my children. Of course, I’m suppose to say that because I co-created them and they are my personal contribution to the human race. What mother doesn’t think they created a beautiful masterpiece in their child?
When I look at the walls in my home, I see smiling faces, some with fancy dresses, some with silly faces, but fairly boringbackdrops. They are beautiful (so says this mom) but they are average. But our life is not average and my children, like yours, are full of life and vivid imagery.

The photo I would want pimped is one of my little lady. All you can see is her sweet face peeking from behind a swing. I think it would be beautiful with emphasis on her blond curls and blue eyes.

I would love one of the photo collages of my daughter and son when they were first born. My daughter was born 16 weeks prematue and my sone was born a year later 11 weeks premature. They remind me on a daily basis how blessed I am to be their Mommy.

I love the contrast pop art and groovy pop art. Very modern, fresh, contemporary. I would sooooooo love to have one of these in my house and when my friends notice, I could tell them all about Pimp My Picture Photo Candy. It’s about time we saw some work like this. Love the negative images with a powerful pop of color and all of the pretty dots and “swirlies”. So cool. My fav pic of my 3 year old son that I would like to have pimped, is a pic of him in the big tub with bubbles all around and he’s holding a handful of bubbles, looking at them , and his mouth is open WIDE to blow the bubbles. It’s awesome.
