When Ron asked me if I’d be interested in sharing this information, I immediately said yes.
It’s pretty obvious why, I mean, who wouldn’t want everyone to know about a foundation who provides free housecleaning services to women undergoing cancer treatments?
That’s right, FREE CLEANING SERVICES!!!
In 2006, Debbie Sardone founded Cleaning For A Reason.. Since then, she recruited over 200 companies nationwide to serve as local chapters in over 28 states. Requests for services are made through the foundation’s website at www.cleaningforareason.org and also through the foundation’s call center.
Once cancer patients have been verified through their physician, they are matched with Ron’s company, Two Maids & A Mop. Patients that are approved are then able to receive one free housecleaning per month for four months.
“It’s our hope to get every cleaning company in Birmingham to join Cleaning For A Reason,” says Ron Holt. Just imagine if we all joined together! Together, we could all really make a tremendous difference in the lives of so many cancer stricken families.”
